I see you…
And if you look closely, you’ll see yourself.
We’re all just pigeons until we get the message. Even though all the pigeons in this photograph are unique in their own way, they’re still just pigeons.
They all have similar features, so they can be identified by anyone as a pigeon. However, you and I know that they aren’t all alike.
Just like pigeons, people look similar and are referred to as human beings. However, no two people are alike.
Similar to pigeons, people flock together with those that they are most comfortable with and this can be based on education, job skills, family particulars, interests, habits, athletic ability, and numerous other categories.
Pigeons often wind up in the mouth of a cat, because they lose a sense of awareness. People wind up in the poor house, because they too, lose a sense of awareness.
If you want to fly away from the flock and really do something that will reward your efforts, you can. Take the easy steps;
1) You have to keep your mouth shut, because as soon as you tell one of your flock that you are going to try something new, start a business, or increase your income, the negativity begins to flow. The flock doesn’t want to lose you as a member, because if you leave, they’ll look stupid for staying.
2) Keep your eyes open for opportunities that can make you extra money. You can keep doing what you are doing to make a living, but you can begin with small steps to create a stream of revenue that will turn your dreams into reality.
3) Your wallet can only become full if you do something to increase your income.
Using an hour a day, each day, to create a stream of additional and eventually a full-time income begins with you taking the first step.
That first step is promising yourself that you are going to keep your plan to yourself, keep your eyes open for opportunities, and being willing to spend a little time every day to fatten your wallet, rather than emptying it on useless junk.
It’s up to you, but the good news is that you can begin and grow your personal wealth at your own pace, but once it grows, your energy and willingness to use your time more productively will be automatic.
