This section is entitled; MYSTERIES,
because there are things that I see
and snap a photo of,
but don’t really understand
the Third World logic.
Look at this photo,
can you tell me what it means?
Here’s a couple more
so that you perhaps can get

a clue as to what it means.
Putting penguins in a long glass case
with a bear about to put a gun
to his head baffles me.
Believe it or not,
this is a display case that was built
in front of a building
that houses the sample floor plans
of a new condominium project in Bangkok.
This use to be a nightclub called CREAM,
but the logo wall was torn down
and workers slaved like ants
around the clock to build
this penguin case with a bear in it.
Some of the back walls of this case
are protruding in giant egg like forms.
The case is at least 60 feet long,
3 feet deep, and about 7 feet high inside,
but about 10 feet high from ground to top
(it’s raised off the ground).
Here’s a picture of the name
of the development.
This is on Ekkami road in a busy
section of Bangkok
and a very expensive area to live.
What were these marketing geniuses thinking…
that is if they were thinking at all.
Why would you put a bear with
a gun to his head in a giant display case?
It’s just a mystery to me.
